Dennis Publishing produce an annual comprehensive guide to eBay, and the 2008 guide has been published this month, available for £7.99 in shops, or £6.39 on Amazon.co.uk.



I had a flick through it, and saw lots of useful information, tips, help and website reviews. A lot of familiar names were listed, but on page 77 I saw this rather favourable review ....!



I had no idea that this was due publication, and had no prior communication from the publishers, but we could not have asked for anything more than a 5 star review from a independent source.

So thanks to everyone for making the site what it is so far!

Me too, that really is amazing and to think it was put in without any encouragement from PSF makes it even more incredible. I'm glad to see all of our hard work recognised in an unbiased piece of writing. At the end of the day this forum would not be what it is without our many, many members so I think everyone deserves a pat on the back!

Well done fine words indeed. But can't resist a small dig though - Immediately before the reference in the newsletter you've got an article which plays down the Ebay Star rating scheme because it only has a 1-5 star rating, which I'd agree isn't very subtle but you literally Go Large on getting 5 out of 5 rating from an independent reviewer....easy to fall into the self congratulatory trap ain't it!

The site being awarded 5 stars doesn't have any bearing on what order the posts appear!!

I don't feel it's right to mention some of the sites that did not get 5 stars, as I know the people behind some of them are members here too

u know wot. ive had a good look around and there are many ebay books for sale covering various things. does this cost much to publish a book and get loads of copies made for retail?

had a idea thats all on pobbily writing a book rather than ebook. . i have seen some sites that the ebook creators use to publish some of their ebooks into paperback. but not sure how pricey it is .

anyone have any ideas?

I've order my copy from Amazon. It should be with me in the morning, unfortunately Waterstones & Borders insisted the book didn't exist despite me giving them the ISBN number
