white background  . what ones that then..
oh hold on, i got my sun glasses on, never noticed 
i like it,
the white is bright, but it looks clean now

Looks better but the use of buttons will reduce your SEO gain (internal weighting so not as heavy as external)..add ALT text to them to counteract the loss. Or consider a table text link with the image background to achieve teh same effect but maintain SEO factors...
White background makes the site look crisper IMO

Yeh I like it too and agree with what auctionman says, if we could keep the grey boxes but make the writing inside clickable text links that would be better.
