Post would you buy of this guy ???
god.. look at this fella... would you buy of him.. he's got real good feedback and sells ebooks..

have a look at how many feedback scores (mostly good ones) he's not getting, because about an 8th of his buyers are "NONE VERIFIED" !!!!

AND THEN THE SCARY BIT..

look how many of his buyers are no longer registerd !! SCARY OR WHAT !!...

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI ... &interval=

.

also they all seem to buy the same item's.. look

the following two links may take a min or two to load (big list's.. but worth a scary look!!)

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 0042486521

and

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 0042496020

now.. who wants to take bet's on the people that have made purchases in the last few day's soon go the same way as the rest !!

what do you think is happenint.. anyone got any idea ???

Right ok here goes...

In the last 5 weeks i've sold around 12,000 1p auctions in total, i get the email address of every buyer and 95% of the buyers had an email address which ends in @126.com....

I think that at least 11,000 of the accounts used to buy 1p items from me are the same person :confused2:

And as a matter of fact if i go into the payment details the address always just comes up as a load of ?????? :?

These are mainly bought in hong kong, china, sweden, italy etc...

My guess is that somewhere down the line these accounts are being sold for profit with feedback.... fake details are being used to open the accounts, the owners are building the feedback up by buying 1p stuff (they never pay by the way), and once the feedback is big enough they will sell the acc's... I could be completely wrong but that's my take on the situation...

Here's another one with a huge amount of feedback, all within 5/6 weeks and all from 1p listings!

All the unverified buyers seem to be from Asian countries.

eBay in China and those areas must have tightened up.

I have a number of 1p auctions running right now and i also seem to be getting a load of suspicious characters buying them from me. like Dave said they're buying the 1p eBook and leaving feedback but not paying for the item.

These buyers are usually from sweden, italy and china. I get the feeling they would buy a lot more if my feedback was automated.

I replied in the other thread, get selling manager or pro the you can leave it automated or in bulk, you're feedback will rocket!

My mate started selling things to these 'swedes' 3 weeks ago and within a couple of weeks his feedback went up by nearly 3k!

I can't find the automated feedback on selling manager Dave. I think it must only be on selling manager pro

With SM you can leave feedback in bluk, with selling manager pro you can automate it, i think it could be free for SMP for 30 days, just try it build your FB up then cancel it :D

Damn! It's eBay shops that give a free trial and not Selling Manager Pro

I'm gutted.

I have mine set to where it leaves feedback in return and when payment has been received, so i still sort of need to manually leave it but in lots or 200.. I just spend 5 mins a day leaving feedback for my 1p auctions...

I have it this way just so it doesn't affect my genuine sales..

Oh and once this guy gets started he will buy anything, it's almost as if he sets up automated buying on your account :?

He started buying my 1ps at the rate of about 1 per minute for most of the day, but he would buy other items i had on BIN too and just leave fb as if they were 1p auctions... So make sure if you have any active BIN listings, you either post to UK only or require immediate payment..

glad this started off a conversation..

but why are a lot of the accounts no longer registered.. do they booted off ??

and if so, can an ebook seller get booted out by ebay, just for selling them ??

It all depends how you list, if you mention feedback at all in the description they can pull for feedback solicitation, if not you should be ok..

Either way you always get a warning, I've had a warning for it and spoke to powerseller support, they told me to remove a caption which said 'i always leave feedback as soon as it's left for me' they can also remove it for 'selling something too cheap' :?

But unless they're being really picky i dont think they will, but as i said if they do pull the auction you still get all the FB but just make sure you dont relist!

Tell your mate to be prepared to make a massive amount of feedback.
