right another update:

forget last post i checked my acc at 4pm today and funds was there so i rang xcatreturns to see if i could order now before the deadline. i could and so i ordered the items in mind and i should get them next week.

also mark. yeh basically i seen 25 of them and went to buy. after purchase i then had a quick look through the site and on a totally dif page was the same item but in a lot of 50. so i bought the 50 as the price was a bit better.

now im just waiting for delivery again .

High grade would indicate that the stock is either unsold overstocks, or unopened customer returns. May also be described as grade A.

B grade would be opened returns, but tested working. C grade is generally untested returns.

What have you received?

Having visited a few of these outlets in the past, it is defineitly worth gettng a van and going there yourself.

All the sites I have visited have allowed me to inspect the goods before purchase - not easy though on mail-order.

Just looking at their grading system - it follows the norm, so high grade is a bit of vague description!

I had bought from then twice both were pallets of cordless phones. the 1st pallet was crap i think i only got 10 out of 44 working but i sold the other faulty ones via carboot and ebay and i sold them as fualty and non working but peps like a bargain and think they can fix em. the 2nd pallet was about the same number but this time around 28 were ok the rest faulty.

What grade were the pallets you bought? I've just been looking through some of the items and there are some great deals on there with huge potential! I was looking at the grade A's and personally wouldn't go with anything less as i've heard it can be a lot of hassle. I've got my eye on a pallet from their site and am seriously considering a purchase.

Just a word on all catalogue return outlets and their pricing policy. many will sell pallets as a percentage of original RRP, but you need to check what the original RRP was!!

I have seen a load of Samsung 200gb Hard Drive Media players (MP4) players being sold at 28% of a £199.99 RRP, which would initially appear as a bargain, but Argos are currently knocking them out at £119. So 28% is actually closer 47%!!

Not much room left for margin on that, and also ebay is flooded with them at the moment.

Well I didn't check the item from the original RRP but i did check on eBay and it does have potential with an OKish margin for profit! I reckon it could definitely double my money to put towards a next pallet and that's always a bonus!

I'm still considering the purchase but i'll let you's know what i decide to do.
