Xcess Trading Ltd
Anybody had any dealings? They apparently act as a broker for job-lots of surplus bankrupt stock. Have spoken on the phone and corrosponded by email, so far so good, but if I go ahead it will be a very large order, thought i'd see if anybody had anything to say.

Yeah, it seems they are a new company which I will keep in mind but still give them a chance. I have spoken to them a couple of times on the phone again today and have an appointment to meet one of them at the company that's actually selling the stock on Wednesday in Manchester so I can inspect it. So far they have seemed professional and apparently do have a warehouse themselves in Nottingham because they were hoping their client would have allowed them to have the goods sent there which would have certainly been easier for me, but as I said, they are only brokers.
Big deal for me though, so I am trying to be cautious.

Turns out to be legit. The company is run by Deborah Barr who was apparently on The Apprentice a year or two ago. I've seen copies of all their VAT/Companies registration paperwork and had several emails/phone calls. All really helpful and professional. I went up to the company actually selling the stock to convince myself it did actuall exist and it was what it was supoosed to be. Didn't get any further because another company offered 50% more than I did, but I was more than happy to deal with them and hope they will contact me again if they get anything in my line.

If that's the case then the company is StockShifters - part of E-Trader Group. If Xcess Trading Ltd is another one of their brands then it's news to me.
Having dealt with StockShifters before, I wouldn't recommend them very highly.

Not saying that as such they are bad, but I had a bad experience with them. They sorted it out reasonably well in the end - but it took them AGES. And I got the definite impression that they didn't really believe me.
hello guys ...Who We Are. Xcess Trading Ltd was founded in autumn 2011 by former Apprentice candidate, Debra Barr. After successfully building a network of retailers and brands since starting in the clearance industry in 2009 Debra saw a gap in the market for a trusted disposition partner in the form of a B2B sales agency.
