Post Best Selling Times On eBay
Whenever i list an item on eBay i always list it between 6pm and 7pm because i figure that at this time most people are back from work and have had their tea and are more likely to be browsing eBay.

for example if you list your item at 2am on eBay.co.uk chances are there are not going to be alot of people awake to bid on your item. lately i have been taking advantage of this and i've got some great bargains like PS2 games & DVD's for very cheap prices.

All i do is look for items that are going to finish in between 2am & 4am and maybe place a low priced bid on it and sometimes I win them at a huge discount. Last week i won a PS2 game True Crime - Streets Of L.A for only £2.50 including postage & packaging and it's a great game. All you need to do is search for items that are going to finish at 2am - 4am on eBay.co.uk but make sure that the seller will post to united kingdom only. also auction format brings the best deals.

Anyway my question to everyone is what do you think is the best time for your listing to end on eBay to get maximum customers. i usually go for a friday or saturday night in between 6pm & 7pm.

Do you think a saturday is better than a sunday for your auction to end? or maybe you think friday brings the most customers. whatever you think i'd love to hear your opinion

6 till 9pm I think.
Also if you put it on be fore a popular program eg. corra, people are mostl ikely to put there highest bid on at the start.
So if everyone puts there high bid in early, that could mean good luck?
Well I guess also, people won't be tempted to win more, but its still an ok idea.

Yeah i agree, all my auctions finish between 7-9, sometimes i'll have one or two in the afternoon on a saturday or sunday..

The same applies to fixed price too, you always sell more towards the end so i always have mine ending on a saturday evening..

Yeah I read an article a while back that most people surf between 6 - 9 on a Sunday evening, makes sense then that this would be the best time to end an auction. I tend to have mine finishing then some midweek, depends on the item some do very well ending between 14:00 - 15:00 in the afternoon.
