Fairly certain I did not make that post six times! Whats going on?

** Looks like they were made when the site was playing up on Wednesday - I've deleted them out now! ** Mod Edit **

Thankyou! Thought I was starting to repeat myself more than usual!

Hello forum_police and everyone else

Thank you for your input.
We are having a complete site upgrade in approx 4 weeks time and will ask our techs to include google checkout as a payment method to be included in this upgrade.
In the meantime keep a lookout for our new onsite forum, this should be included within the next 10 - 14 days.
Hopefully people out there will start getting the message - you do not need to pay to buy and sell on auction sites, just use 121bid !!

Good luck with your auctioneering ( try spelling that after a few glasses of wine ).

Excellent, I do not like having to give money to Paypal for almost nothing in return!

Google checkout will hopefully be an excellent alternative.
:D

Thanks and well done to Eddie on 121bid.com for sorting out a suspected scammer today, within MINUTES of it being reported to him.

Excellent service once again. 8)

Hello

No problem aaamusements.co.uk, we aim to please.
Thank-you again for your vigilance.

Just as a matter of interest - we had a few complaints that the site was slow to load, to resolve this problem we moved to semi-dedicated hosting ( at a fair bit of expense ) over the weekend.

Please try the site out and let me know what you think -
Is the site still slow to load ?

Re the onsite forum which we hoped to have by now, we have ( on advice from our techs ) decided to wait until the site software upgrade is completed, this should be in approx 4 - 6 weeks time.
This upgrade keeps getting put back as we keep comming up with new suggestions and modifications ( our fault ). Apparently we were doing things back to front which would have entailed reinstalling the Forum after the software upgrade.

As ever.......good luck with your auctions !

It does seem to be quicker, bit difficult to tell as I am on a slowish connection at the moment!
I will let you know if I notice a significant improvement.

Hello forum_police

It was our intention to have Google Checkout on our site but we have been informed that Google Checkout cannot be used by our Sellers or sellers on any auction site.
To Sell using Google Checkout you must own the web site which you are selling from, you cannot sell from an auction site which you do not own as you are a member of that site and not the site owner.
We, however, as owners of the site, can accept payment from our members for services supplied.

Eddie

Hello Jamhun

Will look into this in greater depth, it is not a problem getting this intergrated into our site.....but as I said, we were going on advice.

This is of the Google Checkout faq's,

Google Checkout is designed to support buyers and sellers across the web. Google does not prohibit the use of Google Checkout on eBay or any other marketplace.

I have sold £85 worth of stuff on it now with no real problems!

That was only 3 items though... guess it helps that I am in a bit of a niche market and so things tend to show up fairly well on search engines.

The site is very highly recommended for price and absolutely brilliant customer service! 8)
